Sunday Evening PrayerWe gather on Sundays for Evening Prayer at 5:00 p.m. We pray Compline from the Book of Common Prayer and practice Lectio Divina, which is a way to prayerfully listen to scripture. We gather online via Zoom. Click the link to join. Students are welcome to join worship and fellowship at Canterbury, regardless of religious background.
We're here for youWe really wish we could have you over for coffee and warm cookies, but we want you to know we are still here you even during this time of social distance. If you'd like to schedule a time to talk with the Chaplain, just make an appointment here. Or Contact us if you'd like to talk to one of our student leaders. We'd love to get to know you better, and we are always here if you need a listening ear. When the weather is warmer, we hope to schedule some outdoor meetings, wearing masks and keeping social distance.

Epiphany Celebration Jan. 10 at 5 pmThis Sunday we will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany, or the day that the church remembers the Magi visiting the Christ Child. During our Compline service, we will bless chalk to use in "chalking" our doors. This ancient tradition invites God's blessing on our houses as well as those who visit us. And equally important, it reminds us that we are to carry that blessing when we go out into the world.
We invite you to have a piece of chalk and either a candle or incense when we gather on Zoom at 5 pm this Sunday. Weekly Book DiscussionFor the Winter Quarter we are continuing our book discussion with Richard Rohr's new book The Wisdom Pattern. It's not too late to join in, and Canterbury House will provide books. Just let the Chaplain know if you would like a copy. We will meet on Zoom once a week. Go to When2Meet and let us know when is a good day/time for you.
